Municipal early warning systems
In addition to the lead project KliGAS Blies, municipal KliGAS projects are also being implemented. There are currently municipal KliGAS projects in live operation, for example in Eppelborn, Rehlingen-Siersburg, Wadgassen and Saarlouis, in which municipal measurement data and weather forecasts in particular are evaluated for early warnings.
Municipalities have access to a basic system that can later be integrated into the lead project KliGAS Blies (then KliGAS Saarland).
In KliGAS Municipal, municipalities receive, among other things, situation reports, dashboards and warning emails, which give them a quick overview of the situation on site in the event of an incident.
